Insect Art at Burning Man
Imago Artist Kirsten Berg
Burning Man is an “Experiment in community and art” held annually at Black Rock in the Nevada desert. Among the art featured are large sculptures, some of which celebrate insects. In 2016 a sculpture by Kirsten Berg, Imago, received an honorarium grant. Now the City of Reno, NV plans to move the sculpture from its current location to decorate a site in Reno where buildings were recently demolished. What better than a Butterfly sculpture to beautify the area?
